Transfagarasan Family Trip - August 9
Romania is one of the most beautiful places on this planet. I thank God for a little footprint of his creation in Romania. The Carpathian Mountains are breathtaking.
Gary suggested to the whole family to have our first family reunion away from home. Everyone agreed and we began our journey to Transfagarasan Road and our Hotel Valea cu Pesti on the other side of the top of Transfagarasan.
We left with 4 cars at 9 am. It was so exciting.

It was so cold up on the top of the mountain ( Lacul Balea) and a girl used a Romanian flag to keep her warm. I am not sure why but it made me happy.
