Happy Birthday America

 

 4th of July, 2022 in Romania

 If we were home, there would have been burgers, hotdog's and fireworks but in Romania this day was just like any other day here. Everyone went to work, began new projects, food shopping for the week, etc. While everyone went on with their daily routines, Gary and I relaxed as much as we could. 

This evening mom needed to check something at the house in Sigisoara, which is the home I grew up in and the city I love. I got to drive for the first time our new car, I like it a lot. Its not a hybrid but it is still nice. I have a saying " Once you go hybrid, you can't go back". :-) And for those who wonder back in the states, I do not drive fast like my lovely husband.

Today I am grateful for being an American citizen. I love my American husband, our family, my home church, my American friends, and all the privileges I have for being an American. Happy 4th of July to all my American friends.
