Day 2 in Jerusalem

Our first visit today was The Upper Room, which was the place where Jesus had the Last Supper with His disciples. It is also the place where The Holy Spirit came upon the disciples on the day of Pentecost. I could imagine how many people were together inside and outside of this home living life.

The rules of the room                                               One of the windows leading to the courtyard

Exiting Jerusalem thought Zion's Gate to go outside of the city to the Upper Room

Entering the Upper Room                               This was build inside the room right where a fireplace :) would go

The Upper Room

My experience here was not as I was hoping. There was too much noise and very crowded.

The courtyard of the Upper Room, to the right of the steps, under it is Kings David Tomb.

Gary and I spend the rest of the day exploring the city, shopping was apart of the exploring.

This is the oldest Pottery place in Jerusalem.

The man in the picture with Gary is Jacob- third generation family owned businessman. His father made all the street names in the old city, which yes are on tiles. We bought a tile as well with the Jerusalem's cross.  As you can see Gary enjoyed this stop a lot, they had a great conversation and now they are Following each other on Instagram.
